About the product
Good to know
Rose and laurel hydrosol instead of water
If you read the ingredient list of an ordinary facial toner, aqua usually comes first. Not with this one. The base is rose hydrosol and laurel hydrosol, plant waters created during steam distillation.
We don't add any plain water. So you're not paying for water as a filler.
For oily and blemish-prone skin
Oily and blemish-prone skin doesn't automatically need the strongest possible cleansing or as many active ingredients as possible. Pure Skin is deliberately light, with no oil phase and no added fragrance. The rose hydrosol refreshes, the laurel hydrosol adds a fresh, herbal note and is intended as a base for oily skin. This leaves your skin feeling light after cleansing.
How to use it
After cleansing, put a small amount on a cotton pad or in your palms and gently apply to face, neck and décolletage. Follow with your oil or cream if your skin needs it.
Filled by hand
I fill the hydrosols myself, in small quantities, in my studio in Trostberg.
For Oily & blemish-prone skin
Key ingredients

Deliberately in. Deliberately left out.
Oily skin doesn't automatically need “more against oil”. Pure Skin is deliberately light: two hydrosols, no added aqua, no oil phase and no added fragrance. Every component has a clear place in the formula.
How it's often done
- Water as the main base In many facial toners, aqua makes up the largest part of the formula.
- Plant ingredients as an addition Hydrosols or plant extracts may be used in addition to the water base.
- Further functional ingredients Depending on the formulation, further auxiliary or care ingredients are added.
- Fragrance depending on the formula Additional fragrances may be used for a particular scent.
Why we do it differently
- Two hydrosols as the entire base Rose and laurel together make up the formula.
- No added aqua The hydrosols are not diluted with plain water as an additional base.
- Deliberately without an oil phase Pure Skin stays light and adds no extra oils to the facial toner.
- No added fragrance The clear, slightly crisp scent comes straight from the hydrosols.
What's in it instead
-
Rose hydrosol
-
laurel hydrosol
The difference isn't in the promise. It's in the formula.
