About the product
Good to know
A mask that doesn't crack
The trick with a clay mask is to take it off in time. If it dries out completely and cracks when you smile, it has taken more moisture from your skin than it has given.
Take it off while it still feels slightly damp. Usually that's after ten to fifteen minutes.
What's in it
Blue and green clay plus coconut activated charcoal. The clay absorbs excess sebum.
How to use it
Mix two heaped teaspoons of the mask with a little (boiled) water to form a paste. For the face only: apply thinly to cleansed face, leaving out the eyes, mouth and nostrils, and don't let any get inside them. Leave on, then remove with lukewarm water. Do not use daily. Take a break between uses, for example 14 days.

For Oily & blemish-prone skin
Key ingredients
Oily and blemish-prone skin doesn't automatically need the strongest possible cleansing or as many active ingredients as possible.
That is exactly why these are in this formula.
-

Clays & mineral earths
Collective glossary entry. Depending on the product, e.g. Kaolin, Illite and shade-specific ingredient components. The exact composition is given in the INCI of each product.
What it is: Natural mineral earths, mainly based on kaolin and illite. Depending on the ingredient, they have different natural colours and compositions.
For your skin: Absorb excess oil and moisture, give powder and mask formulas structure and, depending on the clay, provide the characteristic natural colour.
-

Activated charcoal
Charcoal Powder
What it is: Fine black charcoal powder for cosmetic use.
For your skin: Absorbs excess substances on the surface and gives the mask its characteristic dark colour.
Note: Do not use on children under three years of age.
Full ingredient list (INCI)
Blue clay, green clay, coconut activated charcoal
Deliberately in. Deliberately left out.
Oily skin doesn't automatically need an elaborate mask. With Pure Skin, we rely on a short list: two clays and activated charcoal from coconut, with no added fragrance. Every component has a clear place in the formula.
How it's often done
- Several components Many clay masks combine clay with other care and auxiliary ingredients.
- Auxiliary ingredients for texture Depending on the formula, emulsifiers or thickeners create a spreadable consistency.
- Care is added on top Oils, humectants or plant extracts are often used in addition.
- Fragrance depending on the formula Additional fragrances may be used for a particular scent.
Why we do it differently
- Two clays combined Blue and green clay together form the base of the mask.
- Activated charcoal from coconut As a third component, coconut activated charcoal complements the two clays.
- No added fragrance The mask is given no additional fragrance note.
- Three ingredients. A clear formula. Blue clay, green clay and activated charcoal: you can see exactly what goes on your skin.
What's in it instead
- Blue clay
- green clay
- coconut activated charcoal
The difference isn't in the promise. It's in the formula.
How to use
Your ritual at home
- 1 MixMix two heaped teaspoons of the mask in the palm of your hand or in a small bowl with (boiled) water, in small amounts, into a paste.
- 2 ApplyFor the face only, not for the whole body. Apply thinly to cleansed face, avoiding the eye, mouth and nostril areas, and do not get any into them.
- 3 Leave onLeave on for ten to fifteen minutes, then gently wash off with lukewarm water in circular movements and pat your face dry.
- 4 Take a breakDo not use daily. Take a break between uses, for example 14 days.
How long it lasts
A thin layer is enough.
You decide how much to use, whole face or just individual areas.
We don't add water as a filler. That makes every batch more concentrated, and you need noticeably less per use.
So there's no fixed number of uses, but it's very flexible to use.
