simply drop didn't come about because I had always wanted to start my own cosmetics brand. It came about because I was desperate myself.
At 30, I got chickenpox. Afterwards, my skin suddenly went haywire. I tried countless products, listened to recommendations and hoped every time that I had finally found the right one. But nothing really felt right.
With every new cream, I asked myself the same questions: What is actually in this? Why do I always need yet another product? And why does it all feel so complicated?
At some point I no longer knew what else to try. But I believe you always have a choice. You can give up. Or you can get up, start thinking for yourself and look for a solution. I chose the second path.
I wanted to understand what I was putting on my skin. I wanted to know why an ingredient is in there and what purpose it serves. And I wanted to develop skincare that is honest: without unnecessary ballast, without empty promises and without ingredients I can't stand behind myself.
My first product was the Facial Toner Pure Skin: rose hydrosol and bay laurel hydrosol. Not too much. Not too little.
Over time, a single product became simply drop.
Today I develop and make every single product myself. Not because I want to do everything perfectly. But because I want the freedom to know what's in it, why it's in it, and that I can stand behind every product with a clear conscience.
In Trostberg's old town, treatments were added. Since then, I see every day what works on real skin and what only sounds good on the label.
For me, honesty is nothing special. It goes without saying.
I want to behave towards people the way I would like them to behave towards me … regardless of where they come from, how much money they have or what story they bring with them.
The best moment for me isn't when someone says my products are good. The best moment is when someone realises how easy skincare can suddenly be. When someone understands that it doesn't always take more products, just the right ones.
And if I can do something good for our environment at the same time, that simply makes me happy.
Today I want to help simply drop grow. Not just because I want to be successful. But because I want to show that natural skincare can simply be different.
Honest. Transparent. Understandable.
I will never stop growing. But one thing will never change:
I want to be Germany's most honest natural skincare brand.
