About the product
Good to know
Evening is enough
Your skin doesn't need cleansing with a gel twice a day. In the evening the day has to come off, no question. In the morning, water followed by facial toner is enough for most people.
What's in it
A mild sugar-based surfactant (coco-glucoside) for cleansing, rose hydrosol as the base, plus aloe vera gel, jojoba oil and green tea extract. The scent comes from vanilla and lavender.
No squeaky-clean feeling, and that's intentional
Many people think squeaky-clean skin after washing is a good sign. But a strong squeaky feeling can be a sign that the cleanser stripped more oil from the skin than necessary.
Mildly formulated
Vanilla Dream cleanses mildly. If you have very sensitive skin, it's worth testing it on a small area first.
Handmade
In small batches in my studio in Trostberg.
For Oily & blemish-prone skin
Key ingredients
Mild cleansing should lift dirt and residue without stripping the skin of more oil than necessary. That's why Vanilla Dream combines a mild sugar-based surfactant with rose hydrosol, aloe vera gel, jojoba oil and green tea extract.

Deliberately in. Deliberately left out.
A cleanser doesn't have to be harsh to cleanse thoroughly. That's why, with Vanilla Dream, we didn't only look at what removes dirt and residue, but also at how your skin feels afterwards. Every ingredient has its job in the formula.
How it's often done
- Water as the base Many cleansing gels consist largely of water as the carrier of the formula.
- Surfactants do the cleansing They lift dirt, sebum and residue from the skin. How mildly they cleanse depends on which ones are chosen and how they are dosed.
- Care is added on top Humectants, oils or plant extracts are added depending on the formula.
- Fragrance is built separately The scent often comes from specially added fragrances or fragrance compositions.
Why we do it differently
- Rose hydrosol instead of plain water In Vanilla Dream, rose hydrosol forms the base, so it's part of the formula from the start, not just an addition at the end.
- A deliberately mild sugar-based surfactant Coco-glucoside does the cleansing and was chosen specifically for a mild formulation.
- Care while you cleanse Aloe vera gel and jojoba oil complement the cleansing gel and support a pleasantly cared-for skin feel after rinsing.
- Green tea extract as a deliberate plant component The extract isn't just there for the label; it was deliberately chosen as part of the care formula.
