About the product
Good to know
Four hydrosols instead of water
If you read the ingredient list of an ordinary facial toner, aqua usually comes first. Not with this one. The base is made up of four hydrosols: Rosa Damascena, Roman chamomile, birch and cistus. Hydrosols are the plant waters created during steam distillation.
We don't add any plain water. The cistus hydrosol we buy in already contains Potassium Sorbate and Citric Acid, which is why both appear in the ingredient list. So you're not paying for water as a filler.
For sensitive and dry skin
Sensitive skin doesn't automatically need a long ingredient list. Sensitive Care is deliberately reduced to four hydrosols and has no added fragrance. The mild, floral and herbal scent comes straight from the plant waters.
How to use it
After cleansing, put a small amount on a cotton pad or in your palms and gently apply to face, neck and décolletage. Follow with your oil or cream if your skin needs it.
Filled by hand
I fill the hydrosols myself, in small quantities, in my studio in Trostberg.
For Sensitive skin

Deliberately in. Deliberately left out.
Sensitive skin doesn't automatically need the longest possible ingredient list. That's why we deliberately reduced Sensitive Care to four hydrosols. Every ingredient was chosen specifically for this formula, none is there just to make the list look longer.
How it's often done
- Water as the main base In many facial toners, aqua makes up the largest part of the formula.
- Plant ingredients as an addition Hydrosols or plant extracts may be used in addition, depending on the formulation.
- Further functional ingredients Depending on the formula, humectants, solubilisers or other auxiliary ingredients may be added.
- Fragrance depending on the formulation A particular scent may be built up with additional fragrances.
Why we do it differently
- Four hydrosols as the entire base Rose, Roman chamomile, birch and cistus together make up the formula.
- No added aqua as filler The hydrosols are not simply diluted with plain water.
- No added fragrance The mild, floral and herbal scent comes straight from the plant waters.
- Four ingredients. Each one deliberately chosen. No needlessly long list, you can see exactly what goes on your skin.
What's in it instead
-
Rose hydrosol
-
Roman chamomile
-
birch hydrosol
-
cistus hydrosol
The difference isn't in the promise. It's in the formula.
