Deliberately in. Deliberately left out.
A lip balm is all about its oil phase. In our Lip Balm Orange & Vanilla, the formula is made of oils, butter and wax, with no added water at all. Instead of beeswax, we use berry wax.
How it's often done
- Wax for firmness In many lip balms, beeswax or another wax keeps the balm in shape.
- Oils and butters for care Plant oils, butters or other fats often form the caring base.
- Other additives depending on the formula Depending on the formulation, colour pigments, aromas or other auxiliary ingredients are added.
- Scent and taste added separately Scent and taste often come from aromas or a fragrance blend, declared as ‘Aroma’ or ‘Parfum’.
Why we do it differently
- Berry wax instead of beeswax The plant-based wax gives the balm its firmness and makes the formula vegan.
- Organic coconut oil comes first Organic virgin coconut oil starts the formula.
- No added water The balm is made of oils, butter and wax, with no added water.
- Scent from vanilla and orange Vanilla butter and orange essential oil give the balm its scent.
What's in it instead
-
Coconut oil
-

-

- Orange essential oil
The difference isn't in the promise. It's in the formula.
How to use
Your ritual at home
- 1 ApplyApply to your lips as needed.
- 2 StorageIn warm conditions, the balm can become softer or even liquid. If that happens, put it in the fridge briefly. Store in a cool, dry place.
How long it lasts
A thin layer is enough.
Approx. 2 months with daily use.
We don't add water as a filler. That makes every batch more concentrated, and you need noticeably less per use.
Based on experience, depending on how often and how generously you reapply.
