About the product

Good to know

Staying dry

Corn and rice starch absorb moisture, bicarbonate of soda and white clay complement them, and sea water concentrate adds minerals.

The scent comes from sage, rosemary and tea tree oil, herbal and clear.

How to use it

Apply a small amount to dry feet and spread it, especially between the toes. Or dust it straight into your shoes before you put them away.

Made by hand

In small batches in my studio in Trostberg.

For your skin: Absorbs excess moisture or oil and gives a dry, light feel on skin or hair.

  • Rice starch

    Rice starch

    Oryza Sativa Starch

What it is: Fine plant-based starch from rice.

For your skin: Absorbs moisture and excess oil and supports a light, powdery texture.

    Clays & mineral earths

Collective glossary entry. Depending on the product, e.g. Kaolin, Illite and shade-specific ingredient components. The exact composition is given in the INCI of each product.

What it is: Natural mineral earths, mainly based on kaolin and illite. Depending on the ingredient, they have different natural colours and compositions.

For your skin: Absorb excess oil and moisture, give powder and mask formulas structure and, depending on the clay, provide the characteristic natural colour.

Deliberately in. Deliberately left out.

A foot powder doesn't have to be complicated. Our Foot and Shoe Powder relies on corn and rice starch, bicarbonate of soda and white clay, plus sea water concentrate and three essential oils. One powder for feet and shoes.

Typical formula

How it's often done

  • Mineral powder base Many foot powders are based on talc or other mineral powder ingredients.
  • Other functional ingredients Depending on the formula, additional additives or functional ingredients are included.
  • Two products for two purposes Powders for feet and products for shoes are often sold separately.
  • Scent depending on the formula The scent is often built with perfume oils or fragrance blends.
simply drop

Why we do it differently

  • Corn and rice starch as the base Two plant starches form the base of the powder and absorb moisture.
  • Bicarbonate of soda and white clay Both complement the starches and leave a dry feel.
  • Sea water concentrate in the formula Sea water concentrate complements the blend of starch, bicarbonate of soda and clay.
  • Scent of sage, rosemary and tea tree Three essential oils give the powder its fresh, herbal scent.

What's in it instead

  • Corn starch
  • Rice starch
  • Bicarbonate of soda
  • White clay
  • Sea water concentrate

The difference isn't in the promise. It's in the formula.

How to use

Your ritual at home

  1. 1 SpreadPut a small amount on dry feet and spread it, or dust it straight into your shoes.

How long it lasts

A small amount on dry feet is enough.

As needed, usually more often in summer than in winter.

We don't add water as a filler. That makes every batch more concentrated, and you need noticeably less per use.

That's why there's no fixed figure.
