About the product

Good to know

The moment it drops into the water

A bath bomb isn't a care product you use in passing. It's the reason you take a bath in the first place.

The scent

Fruity, fresh scent of mandarin and orange. It unfolds while the bath bomb fizzes and then lingers throughout the room.

What happens

Bicarbonate of soda and citric acid react with each other in the water. That's the fizz. Gradually, the bath bomb largely dissolves. Some plant parts may remain as residue or traces of colour, that's normal.

Pressed by hand

I press every bath bomb individually in my studio in Trostberg. That's why no two are quite the same, and shape, colour and distribution may differ slightly from the product images.

Deliberately in. Deliberately left out.

A feel-good bath needs above all a scent that brings joy. For Happy Day, we built it from sweet orange and red mandarin essential oils, complemented by neroli hydrosol, real orange peel and jojoba oil at the core.

Typical formula

How it's often done

  • Fizzing base at the centre In many bath bombs, bicarbonate of soda and citric acid make up most of the formula.
  • Additives for shape and foam Depending on the formula, starch, emulsifiers or foaming agents are added.
  • Care as an extra Oils or butters are added in varying amounts depending on the formula.
  • Scent depending on the formula The scent is often built with perfume oils or fragrance blends.
simply drop

Why we do it differently

  • Jojoba oil at the core Jojoba oil is an integral part of the formula and adds care to your bathwater.
  • Neroli hydrosol in the formula Neroli hydrosol complements the fizzing base of bicarbonate of soda and citric acid and suits the fruity scent.
  • Orange peel and pink clay Real orange peel and pink clay are part of the bath bomb itself.
  • Scent of sweet orange and mandarin Sweet orange essential oil and red mandarin oil give the bath bomb its fruity scent.

What's in it instead

  • Bicarbonate of soda
  • Citric acid
  • Jojoba oil
  • Neroli hydrosol
  • Orange peel
  • Pink clay

The difference isn't in the promise. It's in the formula.

How to use

Your ritual at home

  1. 1 In the bath waterAdd a bath bomb to the filled bath and let it fizz.
  2. 2 Please noteFlowers, leaves, powder or other plant parts do not dissolve completely. They can leave residue and natural traces of colour, so please clean the bath afterwards.

How long it lasts

one bath bomb per bath

One bath bomb per full bath.

We don't add water as a filler. That makes every batch more concentrated, and you need noticeably less per use.

The pack of 3 or 6 is enough for three or six baths accordingly.

FAQ

Is any residue left in the tub?
Yes, that can happen. The orange peel doesn't dissolve completely and can leave residue, and natural colourants such as the pink clay can also leave traces of colour. Please clean the bath afterwards.
Which sizes are there?
There are 1 piece, 3 pieces and 6 pieces, each in this scent. A bath bomb weighs approx. 70 g. This is an approximate figure, as the bombs are handmade.
What does bicarbonate of soda do in this product?
Reacts with citric acid in water. That's the fizzing of a bath bomb.
