Which care suits dry skin?

Does your skin feel tight after washing? Does it feel rough or sometimes itchy? These are typical signs of dry skin. The right care can support your skin in everyday life, and you don't necessarily need lots of products for that.

How to recognise dry skin

Dry skin produces less of its own oil. It feels tight after cleansing, looks dull and tends to develop rough patches on the cheeks, elbows and shins in winter.

Which ingredients it likes

Rich, natural fats such as shea butter and almond oil support the skin's natural barrier. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture in the skin, and rose hydrosol refreshes without drying. But what isn't in it matters too: certain drying alcohols and strongly degreasing surfactants can put extra strain on dry skin. What always counts is the formula as a whole.

How often should you apply cream?

As often as your skin needs it. Some skin does well with once a day, other skin wants care morning and evening. Go by how your skin feels: if it feels tight, apply more. In winter that is often more frequent than in summer.

Suitable products

The simply cream as your daily care and the Hand Balm Aloe Vera for hard-working hands. In the morning, water and a toner are often enough. Dry skin usually doesn't need an extra cleanse.
