Your time out: bath rituals at home

A good bath is more than warm water. With a few simple touches, it becomes half an hour that feels like a little holiday.

Getting ready

Put out a towel, dim the lights, leave your phone in another room. The water should be warm, not hot, otherwise your skin dries out.

The bath product

Whether bath salt, bath bomb or bath powder: choose the bath product that suits your time out. For the amount and how to use it, follow the directions for the product.

Afterwards

Pat your skin dry instead of rubbing it, then apply a body balm to skin that is still slightly damp. That way the moisture stays where it belongs.

How often?

Perhaps one bath a week is your personal feel-good ritual. How often you bathe depends on how your skin feels and the directions for the bath product.
