Clay pink

Origin

Alumina, also called mineral earth, lava earth, volcanic earth, was formed many millions of years ago during the Ice Age.

Rock fragments were ground into fine particles in the glacier under the influence of the elements, such as water and wind. The rock dust collected in depressions in the ground, where layers of earth were deposited over time and pressed the dust into loess by high pressure.

This fine unconsolidated rock consists of about 60 to 80 % of silt and about equal parts of fine sand and clay. The mineral constituents are quartz, lime, feldspar, mica and clay minerals.

During the production of Alumina the loess layers are removed, dried, ground and finally finely sieved. At the end remains a uniform, particularly fine and colored powder.

The different colors result from the origin, which determines the content of iron and magnesium oxides.

The Alumina contains many important minerals (silica, silicon, magnesium salts, zinc and iron oxide) that the body needs for optimal functioning. The exact composition depends on the mining area.

Mode of action
for the body

Mode of action of the minerals contained:

- Silicic acid contains the trace element silicon, which is considered an important building substance for hair, nails and connective tissue. Silicic acid provides a vital appearance and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
- Magnesium salts are particularly well absorbed by sensitive and dry skin. The strong anti-inflammatory effect support the fight against redness, acne and rosacea.
- Zinc regulates vitamin A metabolism and influences the development and differentiation of the skin. Zinc has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-androgenic effects and can promote wound healing. A deficiency can impair healthy skin renewal and wound healing as well as the skin's defense function. Inflammation, pimples, flaky, dry skin, eczema, wound healing disorders and also allergies can be promoted.
- Iron oxide is a mineral in our body and is responsible for blood formation and oxygen transport to the cells. It stimulates skin regeneration and provides a "rosy" complexion.

Due to its composition the Clay pink particularly mild and excellent for sensitive and irritated skin.

Clay pink is a mixture of white and red clay with a toning, firming and disinfecting effect. It cleanses, clarifies and softens the skin.
