Kukui nut oil

Origin

Kukui nut oil is obtained from the seeds of the kukui nut tree/light walnut tree (Aleurites moluccana), the national tree of the islands of Hawaii. But the evergreen tree, which grows up to 20 meters high, is also widespread in other tropical regions from India to China and New Zealand.
The vegetable oil is obtained by cold pressing the Kukui nuts and has a particularly high proportion of the unsaturated fatty acids linoleic and linolenic acid.
